Distinction Referral Program Policy
Overview
The Distinction Referral Program is designed to reward tertiary institution students who invite their peers to join the Distinction platform. For every successful referral, you earn ₦100 in airtime. This policy explains how the referral program works, who is eligible, and the terms that guide airtime rewards.
How it Works
1. Get Your Referral Code
- Log in to your Distinction account.
- Navigate to the “Referrals” section on your dashboard.
- Your unique referral code will be displayed. You can copy this code or share it directly via social media channels.
2. Invite Friends
- Share your code with friends and classmates who are in any tertiary institution.
- They must use your code during sign-up for you to earn a reward.
3. Your Friend Signs Up
- When your friend uses your referral code during the sign-up process, their registration will be tracked under your referral.
- Your friend must complete their registration and begin using the platform (e.g., answering questions, participating in quizzes) for the referral to be valid.
4. Earn Airtime
For each valid referral, you’ll earn ₦100 airtime.
Airtime is credited to your registered phone number on a monthly basis.
Eligibility
To participate:
You (Referrer) must:
- Be a verified user on the Distinction platform.
- Be a current student from any tertiary institution in Nigeria.
Your friend (Referee) must:
- Be signing up on Distinction for the first time.
- Use your referral code during sign-up.
- Verify with their National Identification Number(NIN)
- Answer at least 50 questions correctly on the platform.
Reward Details
- You earn ₦100 for each verified and active referral.
- Airtime is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Rewards are processed monthly.
- A minimum payout threshold may apply (e.g. ₦500). If not met, your balance rolls over to the next month.
Fair Use and Misuse
We take fairness seriously.
- Multiple accounts, fake referrals, or false information will result in disqualification and loss of rewards.
- Distinction reserves the right to suspend, revoke, or withhold airtime for suspicious or fraudulent activities.
- All referrals are subject to verification checks.
Program Changes
Distinction reserves the right to modify or terminate the referral program at any time without prior notice. However, any changes will not affect airtime that has already been earned.
